Hunger! What is hunger?

v.intr.

1. To have a need or desire for food.
2. To have a strong desire or craving.

" A strong desire or craving " What do you do when you have a craving? usually we act upon that desire and satisfy that urge. When one needs some food, you don't go talking about it, do you? You get up, get some food and you eat. So why is it that when it comes to our hunger for success, a lot of us tend to sit back and talk about it all day and yet neglect to take the necessary actions that are needed to satisfy that hunger!

It is said " you reap what you sow " Action is a very important factor in the act of satisfying ones desire, every little step you take, helps in shaping your future in the right direction. With no action, nothing is achieved simples!! :)

I have searched all over the Internet to find some young people who've had a certain hunger for a particular area of endeavour and the process they took to feed this hunger.

Here are a couple of them:

WILLIAM TEMPEST.

" Tempest is rapidly establishing a name as one of the city's hottest young talents" - Hilary Alexander, The Telegraph.

William was born on the 19th of December 1985 in Cheshire.

As a kid growing up he had such passion for fashion and at 16 proceeded to enrol on a two year National Diploma course in fashion design and textiles. He graduated with a distinction and was offered a place at the 'London College of Fashion' where he achieved a first class honours degree in womenswear design.

As a student he worked for Giles deacon and did some freelance work especially for Diesel. ( He designed the windows and installations for the London Flagship store re-launch )

After graduating, William moved to Paris where he worked on a womens ready-to-wear collection.

January 2008 William returned to London where he established his own label.

He was chosen by a panel including Donatella Versace to show his spring/summer 09 collection on schedule at 'London Fashion Week', as part of 'Fashion Fringe'.

His clothes have been spotted on celebrities such as Emma Watson and Lilly Allen.

Later this month, he will showcase his spring/summer 2010 collection in collaboration with Sony VAIO.

DAVINCHE

Is a 23 year old self taught south london studio producer and engineer. At 16 he founded paperchase records and has been behind the creative direction of the company.

He has produced for the likes of Wiley,Kano and Tinchy Stryder and has done UK remixes for Britney Spears and M.I.A.

As a trained Pianist and Guitarist he also composes and arranges classical music and has performed a classical concert for the BBC.
